Since 2011, Good Cheer has offered apprenticeships at the intersection of farming and food access. These positions have been paramount in allowing us to grow and provide our community with the freshest, most nutrient-dense food possible.We are now accepting applications for our 2019 apprenticeship. Our apprenticeship program is part of the Washington State Farm Internship Project. This was the first program in the nation to formalize the unregulated position that many farms were already using to meet labor needs while training aspiring farmers. Through the projects, our apprentices are covered by worker's compensation and receive education that meets specific standards.
